जब कभी वायरिंग को स्थापित किया जाता है तो वायरिंग स्थापना को सप्लाई देने से पहले इसकी जांच की जाती है इसे अधिकांशतः मैगर द्वारा जांच किया जाता है मैगर के हैंडिल को 140 से 160 RPM घुमाने पर निम्न मान का DC करंट उत्पन्न करने लगता है इसमें एक स्केल होती है जिसके ऊपर प्वाइंट सुई घूमता है जो insulation Resistance के मान को बताता है इसके स्केल पर 0 से लेकर 1000 ओम या 20 मेगा ओम तथा अनन्त तक अंकित होता है अनन्त को infinity कहते हैं।
अतः सप्लाई देने से पहले वायरिंग स्थापना का निम्नलिखित जांच की जाती है
1. Continuity Test
2. Insulation test between conductor
3. Insulation test between conductor and semiconductor
4. Earth continuity test
5. Polarity test of switch
